We are upcyclers at Kate’s Garden who love to repurpose. Come discover the different ways to repurpose teacups into new lives as useful items for home and garden. Then make a beautiful, botanical candle with essential oil if preferred in a teacup. Beautiful, beribboned boxes to house the candle just in case you want to give it as a gift.

Using pressed flowers or choosing from our selection, you will create a unique piece of artwork in each 90 minute session. Please note: space is limited to 6 participants per workshop.

Tues April 14th @ 2pm: Pressing Flowers Wall Art ($60 + tax)

Learn the basics of pressing flowers using our microwave flower presses, convert into beautiful framed art. In this hands on workshop, you’ll design your own pressed flower composition and mount it into a frame to take home.

Thurs April 23rd @ 7pm: Framed Cards ($75 + tax)

Take your pressed flower skills to the next level from our introductory class. Using pre-pressed mass flowers from our selection, you’ll create a minimum of three framed 4×6 botanical cards.

Sat June 6th @ 2pm: Wedding Keepsakes ($35 + tax)

We’ll guide you through the process of turning pressed flowers into a beautiful wedding keepsake. Examples include Pressed art, Drying Techniques, Candles, and Christmas Ornaments. Perfect for brides, bridesmaids, or anyone looking to preserve flowers from a meaningful occasion.

Sat July 25th @ 2pm: Meadow Walls ($75 + tax)

Take your pressed flower artistry further in this advanced wall art workshop. Using a variety of pressed flowers, you’ll design a larger ‘meadow style” composition that captures the feeling of wildflowers growing naturally across your frame.

Tues Sept 15th @ 2pm: Bookmarks ($40 +tax)

Create a set of delicate botanical bookmarks using pressed flowers from our collection. You’ll design and assemble five unique bookmarks. These make beautiful gifts for book lovers!
