Workshops and Demos 

Our workshop room houses demos, make-and-take, private seminars, team building seminars or birthday parties every week. Registration is a must even for free seminars, as space is limited. Full payment in advance must accompany each registration.
Registrations cancelled within more than 48 hours notice will receive a credit.  Credits are not issued if less notice is provided.   We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel registration for which fees will be credited or refunded.

Participation

All activities are at the risk of the participant. Kate's Garden assumes no fault for injury or mishaps during seminars, workshops, DIY usage or events.

Materials Provided

Experience is not required to take our workshops.  Even if you're brand new to the topic! Unless specifically stated in the workshop description (for example -   bring lots of vases to Flower Lovers Workshops), all materials and tools are provided.

Play Station: Your Own Studio Time 

When not being utilized for workshops, the room is available for "Play Station time," usually in the mornings and late afternoon. Play Station allows you to use our workshops and tools, free of charge for your own studio time. Repot plants, flower arrange, make a wreath, container garden. Please note, play station is not instructed but we have staff to assist you and the use of our resources, space and tools is free. Best part? We help you clean up the mess. 

Designer Assisted Time: Arrangement Bar 

Book one-on-one designer assisted time with one of our fleuristas or frugalistas to work on your arrangements, containers or repurposing projects. Please book in advance, cost varies depending on project. 

Private Seminars 

Our workshops are great for team building and bonding events for colleagues, families and friends. 

Guest Host Your Own Demo or Craft 

We love hosting local artisans and experts to teach workshops, present new trends or provide inspirational talks. For pricing and availability please give us a call so we can discuss if our workshop space can work for you.

Adult Time

Please leave your little ones at home as our demos and workshops are adults only unless otherwise noted. For Child's Play workshops, one parent accompanies one child together.

Unplugged Workshops

At Kate's Garden, we try to slow down the pace of life so our workshops are unplugged.  By turning off your cell phones and cameras until after the workshop is completed, you can be fully present.  Enjoy the sights, sounds and tactile nature of working with plants, flowers, botanicals and vintage skills.
